Overview
La Campagne has commanding views far reaching to Cézanne's Mont St Victoire to the south, the rugged Alpes des Haut Provence to the east and the peak of the highest point of the Grand Luberon to the north. The grounds are flanked by fields of sunflowers, vines and olive groves resulting in complete privacy
The House
Walking through the front door, there is a wide and spacious hallway. To your right is the sitting room with a carved stone fireplace flanked by large, comfy sofas. It is a lovely light room with 2 sets of French doors opening east and south onto the parkland. Next door to the sitting room is the snug with Satellite TV, DVD and entertainment systems. There is also wireless broadband.
West of the hallway is the dining room with its own log fire. Light and airy with French doors opening south to the parkland and north to the poolside make the dining room extremely versatile whatever the season.
There is a large, spacious and fully equipped kitchen. You can experiment with new-found recipes or simply savor the aromas of Provence as we cook for you! The kitchen opens onto the poolside.

Note: Set in its own stone walled courtyard is the large heated swimming pool. Kidney shaped, this is a great place for the family to relax. The child-friendly shallow end is level, making it ideal for beginners or those of us who just want to sit and do nothing but bask in the sunshine. From the diving board you can jump into 2.8m of water or you may prefer to seek out the shaded pool house with its bar or dine ‘al fresco' outdoors. No matter what you chose you will be assured of warmth and views!

Locale
Located on 14 private acres in the countryside surrounding Cucuron in the Eastern Luberon Mountains, just 30 minutes from the bustling Aix-en-Provence markets. Take a hike into the Luberon on foot from the house or drive to the famous villages of Lourmarin (10 minutes), Bonnieux, Gordes, Roussillon, Ansouis and more.
Getting here:
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.

Terms and Conditions
Arrival: Saturday
Minimum Stay: 1 week - please inquire about exceptions outside the summer months
Includes: Final cleaning and any additional maid service as described above.
Confirming your reservation: We will send a rental agreement by fax, email or regular mail. The rental agreement will specify the rental price, the amount of security deposit and the maximum number of overnight occupants.
Initial payment: The signed rental agreement and payment of the 50% deposit using a check or bank wire transfer(preferred) must be received within 7 seven days to confirm the reservation. The second 50% is due 60 days before arrival - we will email you a reminder 75 days before your arrival.
Payment acknowledgment: Immediately upon receipt of your initial or final payment we will mail you an Acknowledgement of Payment. The Acknowledgement will note the remaining balance, if any, and when the payment is due.
Final payment The second half of the rent and any security deposit are due in our offices 60 days before the first day of your rental. We must strictly adhere to this procedure, and failure to comply could result in cancellation of the booking. Don't worry about forgetting -- we'll remind you if your payment is not received on time.
Cancellation Cancellation of a confirmed reservation is a painful event for both owner and renter. The renter cancels because of some unexpected hardship; meanwhile the owner may have turned away rental opportunities and thus lost revenue. We have a no refund cancellation policy, but usually succeed in rescheduling cancelled reservations to the Spring or Fall or booking the cancelled period to another group and refunding the party that cancelled. Failure to pay the final balance which is due 60 days before arrival may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Security deposits are fully refundable. Clients are strongly urged to take out Trip Cancellation Insurance with the carrier of their choice at the time of confirmation. We can send a Travel Insurance quote to US or Canadian residents for all or part of the cost of your trip. We would need the name, birth date, airline carrier, dates of travel and amount of money to be covered for each guest who would like to be insured. Please inquire for a quote.
Security Deposit: The security deposit is taken as a signed promise that we can charge your credit card for any unpaid damage or expenses incurred during your stay. It is very rare that we ever charge a card - we inform our guests before doing so. Reasonable wear and tear is not charged for, but the cost of missing or damaged items will be deducted from the deposit.
Extra Charges The rent includes taxes, standard utilities and maid service as noted above. Additional maid or other services can be arranged and are charged for separately. In cold months November through April there is an additonal 100 euro per week charge for heating cost.
