This spectacular contemporary property is an old mill renovated a few years ago by renowned architect Claudio Silvestrin. Enjoy oversize rooms and modern decor inside, with privacy in the lovely garden outdoors.

La Grange is located in a protected old tiny hamlet composed of a mill, main house, a grange and some houses formerly occupied by workers at the mill. The style of the house is unforgetable, bare and minimalist. With high ceilings and doorways, and very large rooms with white walls - pure design everywhere.

Garden and pool are quiet, private and in perfect condition. A river goes by the property, giving a refreshing environment to the garden and cooling the air around the house.

From La Grange you can tour Les Maures region and discover numerous beautiful villages, and the "route des vins" for wine touring. The famous Ramatuelle and Saint Tropez beaches are 20 miles away.

Situated in the plains of Argens between the mountain chains of Maures and Esterel, Le Muy is a pleasant village surrounded by Mediterranean forests and reputed vineyards.

Three rivers and several ponds flow through the land which make it an ideal spot for fishing and canoeing. Mountain climbing is possible too, due to the stunning porphyritic clifts rising up in the middle of this rich environment.

The road which links Le Muy to Bagnols en Foret goes through the domainial forests of Rouet and has wonderful landscapes to admire. In Le Muy is one of the best outdoor markets in the east of Var. It is lively and colorful and is open every Thursday and Sunday morning.

The Esterel, the Maures and the valley of Argens are good places for riding hiking or cycling on the GR51.

Getting here:
The easiest way to get to the French Riviera is to fly to Nice International Airport (NCE). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Nice TGV(5 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Nice TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.

Terms and Conditions

Arrival: Saturday

Minimum Stay: 1 week, please inquire for exceptions

Includes: Final cleaning and any additional maid service as described above.

Confirming your reservation: We will send a rental agreement by fax, email or regular mail. The rental agreement will specify the rental price, the amount of security deposit and the maximum number of overnight occupants.

Initial payment: The signed rental agreement and payment of the 50% deposit using a check or bank wire transfer(preferred) must be received within 7 seven days to confirm the reservation. The second 50% is due 60 days before arrival - we will email you a reminder 75 days before your arrival.

Payment acknowledgment: Immediately upon receipt of your initial or final payment we will mail you an Acknowledgement of Payment. The Acknowledgement will note the remaining balance, if any, and when the payment is due.

Final payment The second half of the rent and any security deposit are due in our offices 60 days before the first day of your rental. We must strictly adhere to this procedure, and failure to comply could result in cancellation of the booking. Don't worry about forgetting -- we'll remind you if your payment is not received on time.

Cancellation Cancellation of a confirmed reservation is a painful event for both owner and renter. The renter cancels because of some unexpected hardship; meanwhile the owner may have turned away rental opportunities and thus lost revenue. We have a no refund cancellation policy, but usually succeed in rescheduling cancelled reservations to the Spring or Fall or booking the cancelled period to another group and refunding the party that cancelled. Failure to pay the final balance which is due 60 days before arrival may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Security deposits are fully refundable. Clients are strongly urged to take out Trip Cancellation Insurance with the carrier of their choice at the time of confirmation. We can send a Travel Insurance quote to US or Canadian residents for all or part of the cost of your trip. We would need the name, birth date, airline carrier, dates of travel and amount of money to be covered for each guest who would like to be insured. Please inquire for a quote.

Security Deposit: The security deposit is taken as a signed promise that we can charge your credit card for any unpaid damage or expenses incurred during your stay. It is very rare that we ever charge a card - we inform our guests before doing so. Reasonable wear and tear is not charged for, but the cost of missing or damaged items will be deducted from the deposit.

Extra Charges The rent includes taxes, standard utilities and maid service as noted above. Additional maid or other services can be arranged and are charged for separately. In cold months November through April there is an additonal 100 euro per week charge for heating cost.
